Al fresco and covered dining available As a country that is now known internationally for the crafting of top quality wines, it comes as a surprise that before 1980 New Zealand didn?t produce a commercially available bubbly of its own. With a world-class reputation in winemaking to live up to, there were great expectations when a little over 30 years ago we began to produce a sparkling wine. It started small, but we were dedicated to excellence right from the outset. A mere 20,000 cases of sparkling wine came from the 1980 harvest of Gisborne and Hawke?s Bay grapes. It was an effervescent, Kiwi twist on Champagne, released before Christmas 1981, just in time for a celebratory summer toast. Since then, Lindauer?s international awards and critical acclaim have made it our most loved sparkling wine.
Beautiful grounds and warm, versatile interior. Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Wanaka township, the Lake Wanaka Centre is one of the most popular venues in the district. Built from natural timbers and local stacked stone, the complex is set within landscaped grounds right beside the clear waters of Bullock Creek. The interior is warm, modern and attractively decorated, making it a versatile option for all occasions. The Lake Wanaka Centre has been designed with flexibility in mind and the Centre is happy to assist with your particular requirements for any group size. Modern bars and kitchens complement room facilities. A sweeping deck and patio area cater for outdoor dining or pre-dinner drinks. Within the complex there is a very large car park to cater for cars, buses and campervans.The Gatsby Suite: is a room for Elegant, Fairy-Tale Weddings, a 350sq metre, high ceiling auditorium that can seat up to 250 guests. Comfortable attractive space for various functions The Feilding Civic Centre is a multi-purpose community venue centrally located in the heart of Friendly Feilding. The building houses three venues: The Cedar Room is a room capable of holding meetings for groups of up to 50 people and is often used in conjunction with the Concert Chamber as an extra dressing room or rehearsal area. A small kitchen is part of this venue. Each venue may be hired separately or the centre as a whole. There is ample parking around the centre including an off-road car park beside the railway line immediately opposite the main enterence. The CEDAR ROOM is a meeting venue suitable for up to 50 people. The operation of the centre is carried out under the auspices of the Feilding Civic Centre Trust. With a capacity to hold up to 40,000 supporters, the stadium is traditionally the domain of local and international sporting events and festivals. The Raggamuffin reggae festival, UB40 and the Searchlight Military Tattoo are among the shows that have been successfully staged at the stadium. The stadiums main field has television broadcast quality floodlights to accommodate night events whilst its sister ground, Field 2, has training lights and a full-size grass athletic track. The grandstand’s top level includes two lounges and two corporate boxes whilst the media tower opposite had four seperate rooms for media activities. The tower roof balcony provides a prime camera location.
