The Cobblestones Trust offers you a unique opportunity to use the Cobblestones Museum grounds and the historic 1865 Methodist Church to celebrate your very special day. Vintage horse-drawn vehicles and the Cobblestones Administration Building Function Room are also available for hire. The Trust is planning an Official Opening of the new building once fitout of the exhibition space has been completed Take a step back in time through the Museum?s new Entrance Building to the pioneering days of the Wairarapa. The Cobblestones Regional Early Settlers Museum is located in Greytown on the original site of the stables operated by Cobb & Co and the Hastwells to provide a mail and passenger service between Wellington and the Wairarapa from 1866. The Museum’s name comes from the well-preserved cobblestone courtyard beside the entrance building and inside the Hastwell Stables.
